What is Wafeer?

Wafeer is the first industrial water conservation initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - jointly developed by the Ministry of Water and Electricity (MoWE) and Tamkeen Sustainability Advisors, with sponsorship from Saudi private sector. 

Wafeer assists the adoption of systemic, proactive measures that lead to more effective and efficient water use in Saudi industrial sector - giving priority to those that lead to  Reduction, Reuse, and Recycling.  The action-oriented approach aims to compliment the MoWE's successful efforts in  “water conservation in the domestic  sector”.
